Many 3d printers come with additional power ports that can be used to add new peripherals. Secondary fans, led strips, and enclousure heaters are some examples.
I attached a tiny Laser to one of those ports and I transformed my Creality Ender 3 3D printer into a laser engraver.
More often than not these lasers come with little magnets that keep the laser attached to the extruder.
I design this small laser support secure the laser to the extruder support.
Two screws keep the laser support in place without the need to unmount it when we are done with the laser engraving process.
